Prof. Wong Hung is the Asso­ciate Pro­fes­sor of Depart­ment of Social Work, Chi­nese Uni­ver­sity of Hong Kong

He served as an elected Board mem­ber of the Fac­ulty of Social Sci­ence since 2009 and a mem­ber of the Dis­ci­pli­nary Com­mit­tee of the Fac­ulty of Social Sci­ence since 2008. He has been act­ing as an advi­sor for the Hong Kong Fed­er­a­tion of Catholic Stu­dents since 2010 etc.

His research inter­ests include poverty, social secu­rity, labour and employ­ment issues in Hong Kong and China, com­mu­nity devel­op­ment, labour orga­niz­ing, social exclu­sion and empow­er­ment of vul­ner­a­ble groups, ser­vice eval­u­a­tion, and spe­cial inter­est in home­less peo­ple, urban poverty, mar­ginal work­ers and com­mu­nity eco­nomic development.
